The East Alabama Regional Planning and Development Commission seeks a qualified candidate to fill this entry level position. Responsibilities may include work elements of the regional and local planning programs, regional economic development program, MPO, RPO, preparation of grant applications, grants management, and related activities. The starting salary is $37,520.

Requires a Masters Degree from a program in Urban and Regional Planning accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board, with some experience working in urban and regional planning desired, or equivalent education and experience. Knowledge of MS Office applications required; familiarity with GIS software desirable.
